Business Central Vs Dynamics 365 Finance

Functionality: Dynamics 365 Finance is designed to handle more advanced financial operations, such as consolidations, intercompany accounting, and advanced financial reporting. It also includes features such as budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning. Business Central, on the other hand, has more basic financial functionality, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliation.

Industry-specific functionality: Dynamics 365 Finance includes industry-specific functionality for verticals such as manufacturing, retail, and professional services. Business Central also includes industry-specific functionality, but its focus is more on horizontal functionality that is applicable to a wide range of industries.

Customization: Both Dynamics 365 Finance and Business Central are highly customizable, but Dynamics 365 Finance has more advanced customization capabilities. This includes the ability to build custom workflows and business processes, as well as create custom fields, tables, and forms.
